This is another very simple Dessert that takes no time to knock up. You can swap in any nuts you like as well as changing the spices and which flour you use, easily making this gluten free.

Ingredients

6 pears cut in half and core scooped out
80 g spelt flour
50g oats
40g coconut sugar
½ tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla paste
50g vegan butter softened
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp. maple syrup plus extra or drizzling
100ml Masala or Amaretto (optional)
100g flaked almonds

To serve
Ice cream
Oatly crème fraiche
Coconut yogurt
Dairy free cream

Instructions

Pre heat the oven 180°C.

Place the pears cut side up into a baking dish, splosh the Marsala or amaretto around and over them, set aside.

In a bowl add the rest of the ingredients and combine till you have a sticky crumbly.

Divide the mixture amongst the pears and drizzle with a little extra maple if you wish. Place in the oven and bake until the pears are soft and the topping is crunchy on the outside.

Serve as you wish.
