These Apples could be eaten at breakfast or as a guilt free dessert. There is room for adaption, such as adding berries to crumble mix and omitting the sultanas. You could also add some chopped nuts. They also happen to be Gluten Free.

Ingredients

4-5 Bramley apples depending on size

Crumble
40g sultanas
50g rolled jumbo oats
50g ground almonds
30g coconut sugar
1tsp cinnamon
40g coconut oil/vegan butter

Instructions

Pre heat the oven to 180°C.

Core each apple and with a teaspoon, scoop out some of the middle to give you a reasonable sized cavity in which to fill.
Place the apples in a baking dish.

In a bowl combine all the crumble ingredients, and divide and fill each apple with the mix.

Place in the pre heated oven for about 20-30 minutes until golden and the apple is soft through and the crumble is toasted on top.

Serve with yogurt, ice-cream, custard, and oat cream or crème fraiche. Or just as they come.
